Damon replied quickly to my weekend inquiry, and was soon out to grind down almost 100 cypress tree knees that've been sprouting like mushrooms in my back yard, injuring feet and lawnmower blades. Did a better job than expected, in just a couple hours. Very thorough, at a fair price, and a real nice guy to deal with. HIGHLY recommended.

We were sooo fortunate to find Damon! He was professional, reliable, so friendly and gave us great advice. we were in town this weekend from SC to do some yard projects for a friend moving into a new home. On Friday we wanted to remove bamboo that was planted by the previous owner. the stalks had been cut down. three of us worked for an hour with shovels and hatchets trying to dig up the roots. quickly we decided to cut our losses and call a professional. A quick search and a phone call led us to Damon and Busy Beavers. he was very thorough as he talked us through how he could help. we were all in. Damon was referred by my landscaper. He came on time when scheduled. Did the worked as asked, and even took time to take care of a stump that wasn’t planned. As he was leaving, he told me to call if I wasn’t completely happy. About a week later, as we were planting trees in the area he removed the stump, we found it wasn’t removed deep enough. I called Damon to come and look to remove the stump well below ground level. He came back, early, and removed everything without question. I even asked for another small stump and he removed without concern. I am very appreciative of the work he did and will refer him to anyone. Very friendly and conscientious guy.

I had a palm tree on my mobile home from hurricane Milton and Busy Beaver gently removed it from my home and also used his stump grinder to remove the stump. Damon is very professional and has a very skilled staff.

Prior to his arrival we had a huge Bismarckia palm and stump removed to ground level by an arborist. We realized in order to re-plant another tree we needed a lot more of that stump removed. Damon carefully maneuvered around our pool, ground up the rest of the stump and moved two large containers of palm trees for us. I called Busy Beaver and he was able to come out the same day and upon arriving he evaluated the removal and I agreed to have it done. My stump was quite large and it had to be cut into 2 sections and placed for pick up which would be the next day. I was Very concerned as whether the City would take these huge pieces away. When I called to find out about stump removal Damon stated he could come and meet up with me that afternoon. He was prompt and took care of it right away. I was overly concerned about the stump being picked up by the city as it was quite large and heavy but he assured me it would and it was!

Damon was very personable to talk to and responsive to our needs to grind a robolini palm stump. I called on Monday, texted him pictures of the work and surrounding area and he was able to meet and do the work the next day. Because I didn't know where the electrical line was running from the lamp post to the house, he was very cautious on how deep he could go (which he advised before he did the work), and was most appreciative. Price was very reasonable. I would call on Damon again for our next tree/stump removal.

I was in the middle of a major landscaping project for a home that I just acquired. I was in a bind as the previous person, who was responsible for grinding the stumps for the trees, did not do an adequate job at all. I was not aware of this fact as the debris from the stump grind was used to cover the actual stump. The issue was that I had sod arriving the next day and needed that stump ground down quickly and properly. I called around to several companies and they were a few days out (that is not unreasonable). I left a message with Damon and he returned my call about 30 minutes later. I explained the situation and his response which was, “you need this done right now”. I responded “yes” and was prepared for the following: i) He would not be able to accommodate me, and ii) He would charge me an exorbitant amount of money given that I was in a bind. Well, the opposite was true. Damon actually indicated that he was in the area and could show up at my house in 10 minutes and do the job on the spot (this was at the end of the day, too!). He also quoted me a price that was, quite frankly, very inexpensive. Also, upon arrival, he walked around the house and noticed quite a few more things that needed to be ground down. The surprising part was he basically stuck to his quote and only charge me a very small incremental amount for the extra work. I highly recommend Damon and his company and am extremely pleased that he was able to get the job done in a ridiculously timely manner. He is also a kind and personable guy. I have another home that will require major landscaping in the near future and will not hesitate to use him again for that project.

Referred to Busy Beaver by tree pruner after telling him how much local tree removal companies wanted for grinding my 40"+ oak stump. Damon came out one evening and gave me a quote that was a fraction of what i had been quoted previously. I took his offer and we scheduled for a Saturday. He arrived before noon and had the whole job done and cleaned up in around two hours. It turned out to be more grinding and hauling than we had assumed and I voluntarily gave him more than he quoted. Even then it was, by far, less expensive than all my other quotes. Damon was very friendly and efficient and I will certainly engage Busy Beaver in the future if a need arises.

His quote was significantly lower than the other companies I contacted, but the service was exceptional. The quote was to take two stumps down to ground level, but Damon removed both stumps entirely because I mentioned my wife was planning to make a garden there and the stumps would have gotten in the way. After removing the two stumps he quoted, Damon noticed two smaller stumps in the parkway and asked if I wanted them removed. I called Busy Beaver Stump Grinding on Saturday(May 6, 2019) and Damon said he could come on Monday. We had some very, very large roots left over from a previous tree-stump removal company and wanted them all removed so we could re-sod. He kept me posted during the day as to time he would be there. He was very careful about getting his equipment through the fence gate without damaging anything.
